What the Heat Pack Does
A heat pack provides gentle warmth during transit to help reduce cold stress on your cacti. It does not guarantee survival in extreme temperatures, but it offers an additional layer of protection for winter shipments.
When to Add a Heat Pack
We recommend adding a heat pack when:
Your daytime temperatures are below 45°F (7°C)
Nighttime temperatures are freezing or near freezing
You live in a colder region or expect weather dips during shipping
How Heat Packs Are Used
Heat packs are activated shortly before packing your order.
Plants are wrapped and packaged to help distribute warmth safely.
The heat pack warms the shipping environment but will not make the box hot.
Important Notes
Heat packs are non-refundable once added to an order.
Heat packs cannot be purchased alone—they must be added to a plant order.
