Astrophytum asterias Cv. Goryo Fukuryu Kikko Nudum is a complex, multi-trait cultivar that combines reduced rib count (Goryo), additional rib formations (Fukuryu), and segmented rib structure (Kikko) on a clean nudum body.
The Goryo expression reduces the rib count—typically around 5 ribs—creating a broader, more open structure with strong visual presence.
The Fukuryu trait introduces secondary, irregular rib-like protrusions along the main ribs. These extra formations often appear incomplete or layered, adding depth and complexity to the plant’s structure.
The Kikko expression further enhances this by segmenting the ribs horizontally, creating distinct, raised sections that give the plant a sculptural and geometric appearance.
